Above is Allihies village on the Beara peninsula, West Cork, recognizable by its colorfully painted houses. It can be difficult to capture a shot on a day like this – waiting for that burst of light that turns an ordinary scene into something magical. The bad weather at least provided an opportunity to get some wonderfully dramatic images.
I am looking forward to a busy summer and sharing some new images in the coming weeks. Anything new will be posted on the Skyline Gallery Facebook Page. My one day photography work shops commence on March 24th – details opposite, there is one space remaining – if you are interested please email michelle@skyline.ie .
Happy St. Patricks Day!
