Description

Glengarriff Woods nature reserve covers over 300 hectares with the dominant habitats being oak woodland. The glacial processes has shaped and formed the now wooded glen which can be seen in the ice smoothed rocks that occur in the reserve.
Water in many ways is the essence of life,. In photography  one of the most stunning ways to capture a flowing stream is to show movement. Looking at the water as the subject  it is the perfect dynamic challenge to capture the movement in the stillness of the surrounding forest.
